As you know, our family and business has held the Just One Crown campaign in support of JDRF as they fund research for type 1 diabetes (T1D).  This campaign is dear to our hearts as our sister and daughter, Tiffany, and long-time employee, Nanci Granahan, manage the struggles of T1D every single day. We were devastated earlier this fall when Luke Evans (son to Tiffany, nephew to Christina and grandson to Bill), received his diagnosis at age 13. Now more than ever, we are driven to find a cure for our family, friends and for the millions of individuals living with this disease.

As of 2023, JDRF has funded over 55 clinical trials, 300 research grants, and put $2.5 billion in cumulative funding for T1D research. Additionally, JDRF launched www.T1Dindex.org, in collaboration with other T1D-focused organizations, as a user-friendly way to see the global impact of T1D and medical advancements. These advancements undoubtedly make life more manageable for people like Luke, Nanci, and Tiffany, but new cases are still diagnosed every day. The work continues.

We ask for your support with a donation to Just One Crown. This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 and we won't stop until we get there. Any amount you can give for T1D research is greatly appreciated.

In Just One Crown's 10th year, the Blatchford Family is proud to share that they will match up to an additional $50,000 - making our goal within reach.
